Information disclosure obligations pursuant to Art. 13 General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
This privacy policy applies to data about you, including personal data, collected by B. Braun. Personal data are data or a combination of individual data by means of which you can be identified.
Use of Knowlegde Fox
We use the service ‘Knowledge Fox’ to offer you on-line training relevant to your job and function within B. Braun Avitum. The training can be accessed in a number of ways, via a computer, a tablet or a smart phone. If you use your smart phone to access the training you will need to download the ‘Knowledge Fox’ app. A B. Braun employee has created a personal account with your e-mail address in advance. You will be informed that an account has been set up by your manager, along with details on access and how to change your password.
These details are limited to your email address, name and the Department within B. Braun where you work. Your user account is created using Knowledge Fox and are only visible to the B. Braun person responsible as the Knowledge Fox administrator.
Braun will create a user account for you allowing you access to Knowledge Fox and the training material. By using Knowledge Fox you are consenting to the processing of this data. The data processing is necessary in order to use Knowledge Fox.
Purpose and Legal Basis
Your data is used for the following purposes:
- To record your learning progress, personalize your learning sequence accordingly and optimally support your knowledge acquisition.
- To enable the resetting of your password
- To issue and send certificates for completed courses (optional)
- To enable you to participate in Knowledge Matches (optional) so that other participants can select you from the opponents list and challenge you to play a match.
- To inform you of any current Knowledge Match invitations.
The legal basis for the processing of your data is the legitimate interest of B. Braun Avitum AG. As an employer, B. Braun has an interest in giving you the opportunity for further training.Recipients of personal data In the event that you leave B. Braun your access to Knowledge Fox will be denied, and their details deleted from the platform.Your rights
Hereby unaffected is your right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
You have the right to access, rectify and erase the data, the right to restrict processing, to object to processing (in particular, to the sending of direct marketing) and the right to port your data to another controller. With regard to all such matters, please write to the responsible controller (see above).
Deletion of Data
Your data will not only be processed by B. Braun but also by Knowledge Fox. Knowledge Fox as a data processor is contractually committed to comply with data protection regulations and may not use the data for their own purposes.
